Cafe Bavaro will bring coffee, bagels, and breakfast to the EDGE District

A new morning tradition is coming to downtown St. Petersburg with the introduction of Café Bavaro, an Italian-inspired breakfast café and coffee bar from the family behind Bavaro’s.
Scheduled to debut October 16, 2026, at 945 Central Avenue in the EDGE District, the café brings a fresh breakfast experience to the neighborhood. Building on the concept first introduced at Bavaro’s Clearwater Beach location, Café Bavaro combines Italian culinary traditions with familiar breakfast favorites in a welcoming, casual setting.
Guests can look forward to freshly baked bagels, house-made ricotta pancakes, French toast, and specialty breakfast sandwiches featuring ingredients such as prosciutto, mascarpone, fresh mozzarella, and basil pesto.
The coffee menu includes traditional espresso beverages alongside creative selections like cannoli and tiramisu lattes, complemented by matcha, refreshing specialty drinks, and mimosas.
Serving breakfast from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Café Bavaro offers a new way to enjoy the flavors of Italy before Bavaro’s transitions into its regular lunch service at noon.

Bavaro’s opens Italian brunch café in Clearwater

The team behind Bavaro’s expanded its Italian culinary tradition into breakfast with Café Bavaro, a grab-and-go café located alongside its Clearwater Beach restaurant at 468 Mandalay Avenue.
The concept opened in November 2025, bringing a distinctly Italian-inspired approach to the morning menu while offering locals and visitors a convenient new breakfast option near the beach.
Café Bavaro’s menu transforms familiar breakfast favorites with signature Italian flavors. Guests can enjoy lemon ricotta pancakes with mascarpone whipped cream and amaretto maple syrup, specialty breakfast sandwiches such as the Tomozza with prosciutto and heirloom tomato, and coffee creations including the cannoli latte.
Originally launched with weekend hours from 8 a.m. to noon, Café Bavaro extends the Bavaro’s experience beyond Neapolitan pizza and pasta, offering another way to enjoy the brand’s Italian roots.
